Residents attend Holbeach hub

Holbeach Meadows were delighted to be invited to Holbeach Hub to join a tea party hosted by the youngsters attending the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).

Activities co-ordinator Sarah and care assistant Naomi accompanied four residents for a lovely afternoon.  A short taxi ride included a spot the flowers game and on arrival at the Hub the residents were keen to take a look at the Tonic Health Veterans Remembrance display and were very impressed by the beautiful poppy painted pebbles that decorated their table.

A lovely tea party style lunch was enjoyed, served by the children, with sandwiches, cakes and scones and a game of dominoes rounded the afternoon off nicely. We all had a wonderful afternoon, thank you to Holbeach Hub for inviting us along, and to the children for their hard work and excellent hosting skills.
