A magical Christmas at Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls Care Home had a truly special Christmas Day in 2024, filled with festive cheer and heartfelt moments. The day began with residents discovering snowy footprints, a filled Santa sack, and stockings left by Santa overnight. Excitement grew as residents were greeted by an elf (Jenny, lifestyle coordinator) and treated to Christmas songs and movies after breakfast.

Santa arrived with a sleigh full of personalised gifts for every resident, bringing smiles all around. A delicious Christmas dinner followed, featuring traditional turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. Families joined the festivities, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

Lifestyle Coordinator Jenny, dressed as both an elf and later Santa, served drinks to residents and families, ensuring everyone felt included in the celebrations. Special thanks go to Mel’s Crafty and Waxy Wonders for helping create unique, thoughtful gifts tailored to each resident’s interests.
