Avocet House Care Home offer community support

Here at Avocet House care home, we want to support our local community during the cost-of-living crisis. We understand how increasingly hard this winter is for many of our vulnerable adults within the community.

Our team at Avocet House wanted to do their bit by providing a heated facility in which members of the public can access at no cost.

We are inviting members of the community who were over 65 years old, living alone and wanted a little extra support to join us for a hot meal, a cup of tea, warm soup, or a sandwich. Members of the public can spend some time in our home, enjoying the warmth and a good meal.

Avocet House is a friendly and relaxed place for older people to visit, a key part of our home is to relieve any loneliness and to support with day-to-day needs, by doing this we support not only our residents but those vulnerable adults in the community.

The home is located on The Quadrant in Boston. Avocet House is a 66 bed care home developed with residents in mind. Boasting a range of facilities including, ensuite wet-rooms, garden room, tearoom communal dining rooms and lounges, hairdressers and cinema.
