Avocet House Celebrates joyful partnership with local Scouts, Cubs, and Beavers

Residents at Avocet House Care Home were thrilled to welcome children and leaders from the Beavers and Cubs for an evening filled with festive creativity! The Cubs organised three delightful arts and crafts activities for our residents to enjoy, including making Christmas tree pipe cleaner decorations, paper chains, and decorating Christmas crowns.

The Tearoom buzzed with activity, as busy hands worked, laughter echoed, and conversations flowed. The evening flew by, culminating in hot chocolates and snacks lovingly prepared by our wonderful kitchen team.

This heartwarming partnership marks the beginning of what we hope will be many more visits, with exciting activities and opportunities to bridge the gap between generations.

Two Cubs eagerly asked if they could return, and many of our residents are already looking forward to their next visit.
