Cinderella’s Fancy Dress Shop, owned by the wonderful Kay, has been a beloved part of the community for over 13 years. Kay is a truly remarkable person, known for her generous support of Richard House Care Home, especially during our special events.
Kay’s support is invaluable to us. She graciously allows Anita, our Lifestyle Manager, to borrow any costumes needed for our events, whether it’s a themed day like a 1940s celebration or a national occasion such as Tiger Day. Kay’s collection is extraordinary, with over 9,000 costumes available, and she continually adds to it with new arrivals.
What makes Kay’s contribution even more special is that she personally creates many of the costumes herself. Her dedication to her craft and her generosity in sharing these costumes with us make our events truly memorable. The opportunity for our residents to dress up and participate in themed activities adds a unique and joyful touch to their experiences.
Beyond her support for Richard House Care Home, Kay also contributes to several local charities, including the Chris Maslin Memorial and Scouts. Her warm heart and generosity shine through in everything she does, and we are incredibly grateful for her willingness to lend us her costumes free of charge.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cinderella of Grantham for your kind and generous support. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of our residents and add a special touch to our events.
