Cloverleaf Care Home celebrate King Charles III coronation

Leading up to the weekend the residents at Cloverleaf Care Home have been extremely busy and have very much enjoyed preparing their home for the coronation. Everybody has been feeling the presence of royalty in our downstairs garden room with our cut outs of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.

To celebrate the occasion, residents watched the festivities on the big screen in the morning before our coronation street party filled with music, food, and lots and lots of fun! The weather did not put us off, the street party was moved inside, and the amazing Mambo Jambo performed in the afternoon whilst our residents’ enjoyed sandwiches, cake and a cheeky Pimm’s to celebrate the occasion.

Our lifestyle coordinator commented, ‘A great day was had by all, it was lovely to celebrate a wonderful occasion and a special moment in history all together.’
