Cloverleaf Care Home prepare to celebrate 104th birthday

Cloverleaf Care Home in Lincoln are preparing to celebrate the 104^th Birthday of Joan Mace. Joan who was born in 1919 in Essex and was one of 13 children became a resident of Cloverleaf Care Home 4 years ago and became an integral part of the Cloverleaf family ever since.

Home Manager Katie More commented, ‘We adore Joan, she is such a wonderful resident to have in the home, and we can’t wait to celebrate her 104^th Birthday in July’.

Hayley Activities Co-ordinator commented, ‘Joan loves to take part in all our activities, anything and everything, Joan will have a go at.’

To celebrate Joan the home is requesting some help from the local community and further afield, the home would like to receive 104 cards and gifts for Joan, in hope of showing her just how special and loved she really is.

This week BBC Radio Lincolnshire are coming in to chat with Joan about her life, living through World War II, and her new recent interest in TikTok.

Any support would be greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to celebrating Joan on her special day.
