Community BBQ Funday at Sandpiper Care Home

Residents and the community came together at Sandpiper Care Home for a lively and enjoyable community BBQ Fun Day! The day was brimming with joy and happiness as everyone joined in the festivities.

The event featured a range of exciting activities, including face painting, hair braiding, and temporary tattooing, all of which were a hit with both children and adults. Families enjoyed a variety of garden games and raffles while the younger guests had a blast bouncing around on the bouncy castle. Meanwhile, the kitchen team served up a delicious barbecue, with perfectly grilled burgers, hot dogs, and a selection of tasty sides that satisfied everyone’s appetites.

One of the day’s highlights was the water sponge challenge, where team members bravely volunteered to be soaked with sponges by eager participants. This hilarious activity had everyone laughing and created a sense of camaraderie and fun among the attendees.
