Costa coffee catch up

Avocet House Home Manager Tracey Klue and resident Rickie visited costa coffee last week for a catch up away from the home.

Home Manger Tracey wanted to treat Rickie and decided to take her out with Front of House Manager Leila for a coffee and a chat.

Tracey commented ‘Resident mood immediately changed, she seemed much happier and enjoyed her time out with me, we have decided to make this a regular outing’.

Our Home Managers go above and beyond to get to know our residents on a personal level, learning their likes, dislikes, life history and experiences in order to improve their happiness and well-being. Residents and team members are part of an extended family at Avocet House and there is always someone on hand to ensure our residents are happy and well looked after.

Sometimes all we need is a catch up with a friend watching the world go by and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Avocet House is currently accepting new residents, providing residential and dementia care in a luxury purpose built care home. The home boasts a cinema room, tea room, garden room, hair and nail salon and quiet lounge. There is something for everyone at Avocet House.
