Dignity come dancing

To wrap up dignity week we had our dignity come dancing event!

Sharon and Graham, Daughter and Son in Law of one of our residents are incredible dancers and we were lucky enough to watch them perform for us throughout the afternoon. They taught us how to jive and ballroom dance and one of our lovely residents taught us how to line dance.

Our Skills were then put to the test when the judges chose some winners for the competition and they all received prizes!

Sarah (Team Member) won best female dancer.
Des (Resident) won best male dancer.
Heather (Resident) won best improved dancer

Everyone had lots of fun taking part & cheering on our contestants and we celebrated with a glass or two of bubbly.

Jennie, Senior Care Assistant, said ‘Everyone loved every minute must do this again please.’

Nick, residents son commented ‘When I get old I want to be in your cloverleaf care home.’

Sharon, residents daughter, said ‘What a fantastic afternoon. Thank you for letting us take part in your dignity week.’
