To celebrate emergency services day and to show our appreciation to blue-light, NHS and Social Care professionals, Richard House put on a drop-in breakfast event. We served up breakfast baps and tea or coffee to have in our stunning reception area, or to ‘grab and go’.
Emergency services day is celebrated each year and is a way for the community to show their support and appreciation, to those who dedicate their time to looking after others.
The day was founded by Tom Scholes-Fogg when he discovered there was no annual day to support our heroes, the annual celebration of these services was then supported by Prime Minister Theresa May and Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Emergency services day not only promotes our heroes who serve, but also promotes career and volunteer opportunities, how to use the emergency services responsibly, educates on life saving skills, and promotes charities and the work they do.
Here at Richard House we support our emergency services not only on this annual day but throughout the year, by offering blue light services, tea, coffee and cake whilst they are on their busy shifts.
Please remember to pop in to Richard House for a well deserved treat.
