Exceptional commitment to Care and Quality for residents at Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls pride themselves on their exceptional commitment to care and quality for their residents. Bridget joined Cedar Falls in July 2023 the improvement to her physical wellbeing is testament to the fantastic care and commitment provided to Bridget by the team members.

Bridget joined us very unsteady on her legs, due to a prolonged stay in hospital. Since being with us the team have worked incredibly had to push Bridget to get stronger, as her main goal from when she moved in was to be able to walk.

Bridget decided this week that she would try and walk to the dining room from her bedroom, which would be the longest walk she would have done in a while. Bridget successfully achieved her goal with the support of the car team.

Bridget commented ‘I am so proud of myself, I am still going to keep pushing to complete my next goal, which is to be able to walk independently and then I can hopefully get to a stage where I can be independent within the care home.’

Home Manager Jo Monaghan commented, ‘A huge thank you and well done to all my team who continue to provide exceptional care to each resident in our home. It has been wonderful to watch Bridget push herself to achieve her goals, we will continue to support Bridget to complete her next challenge of walking independently.’
