Exciting community connections at Humberston House Care Home

As 2024 drew to a close, we were thrilled to launch several wonderful community initiatives at Humberston House! Our Community Café (held on the first Wednesday of every month from 10 AM to 12 PM), Memory Café (every Tuesday from 10 AM to 12 PM), and Community Quiz (every Friday at 2 PM) have already brought joy, connection, and fun to our residents and visitors alike.

We were also proud to support the Women’s Aid Appeal over Christmas. Hayley, our Lifestyle Manager, delivered a generous collection of gifts donated by our amazing team members, their families, and friends. It was a heartwarming effort that reflected the true spirit of the season and made a difference for those in need.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to introduce even more enriching activities for everyone to enjoy. We’ll be welcoming the Melody Baby Group, led by Alex from Artiez Dance Group, as well as two new ventures: the Friends of Humberston House and the Can You Dig It? Gardening Club.

These initiatives aim to build stronger bonds within our community and create special experiences for our residents. To make this vision a reality, we’re seeking volunteers to join us in shaping these programs and making a meaningful difference.
