Family day at Sandpiper Care Home

At Sandpiper this week, we celebrated family day. What a beautiful day it turned out to be. The sun was shining so we got to enjoy the afternoon soaking up the sun with our loved ones.

It is vitally important that we as a home plan these days regularly, evidence has shown that maintaining family relationships and social interactions have a positive contribution to the cognitive reserve. Staying socially connected makes a person feel less isolated and feel emotionally supported.

Throughout the summertime Sandpipers gardens provide residents and their loved ones an ideal setting for visiting. At Tanglewood our guests are welcome at any time, we have no set visiting hours.
