Family events at Holbeach Meadows

Last weekend Holbeach Meadows invited in their families and friends to join them for a craft afternoon on Saturday, where we started decoupaging our MDF letters to spell out Sunrise Meadow – the name we have chosen for our first floor!

We used a variety of shades of yellow tissue paper and tried out various styles, we like the scrunched up effect – that was our favourite, so this week we have been busy continuing those to go up on the wall to welcome people as they arrive upstairs.

On Sunday we invited our friends and families to join us for a bingo night.  Bingo is one of the resident’s favourite activities, so it was great to be able to have our nearest and dearest in to share that with us.  Boxes of sweets and chocolates were on offer as prizes – well done to the winners.

We try to ensure we hold at least one event every month where we invite resident’s families in to join for us an activity, although they are always welcome anytime, it is really nice for everyone to get together and share fun times.
