Greenhouse donation to Sandpiper Care Home residents

Alison, owner of The Singlecote Hotel in Skegness, generously gifted us a greenhouse for our residents. Resident Norman is thoroughly enjoying it, enthusiastically planting sunflower seeds, tomato plants, and peas.

We made a trip to Wood Thorpe Garden Centre to acquire seeds and compost in preparation for our maintenance man, Steve, to assemble the greenhouse.

Norman expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’d like to thank the lady who kindly gave us this greenhouse. I’m thrilled and eager to see things start growing.”

We are excited to see all of the seeds bloom into beautiful flowers and food residents can enjoy at Sandpiper Care Home.
