At Meadows Park Care Home, the Halloween spirit was alive and well as residents and community members gathered for a spooktacular celebration at the end of October. The home opened its doors to welcome families and friends, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of Halloween magic.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the fancy-dress competition, where the adorable costumes took centre stage. Young Amy stole hearts as a “little monster,” winning the prize for best girl’s costume. Meanwhile, Louis delighted everyone with his out-of-this-world alien outfit, winning the best boy’s costume. Both winners were met with cheers, the prizes were well-deserved!
Throughout the afternoon, residents and guests enjoyed traditional games like hook-a-duck, apple bobbing, and tin can alley, each game sparking plenty of laughter and a touch of friendly competition. The festivities were made even more enchanting with a roaming magician who went from table to table, captivating everyone with close-up magic tricks.
The Halloween party was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to connect with the community, and they cherished each moment of the fun. With smiles all around, they eagerly posed for photos, creating lasting memories to cherish until next Halloween!
