Harvest Festival Extravaganza: Sharing the Love

Guess what? Last week, our amazing community came together for our fabulous harvest festival celebrations! For the past two weeks, we’ve been on a mission, collecting goodies for our local food bank. And boy, did we deliver!

Our charismatic Chaplain, with their divine touch, hosted a heartwarming service for all of us. It was a perfect kickoff to the festivities, setting the stage for what was to come.

But the fun didn’t stop there! Our spirited Lifestyle Coordinator decided to take one lucky resident on a special journey. They ventured down to the food bank to personally deliver our bountiful collection. And what a treat it was!

The food bank team welcomed us with open arms and grinning faces. They even gave us a sneak peek behind the scenes of their operation, showing us how they work their magic. And what’s a friendly visit without a biscuit and a drink? We had ourselves a little snack while we soaked in the sights and sounds of the food bank.

Ruby, one of our beaming residents, was absolutely thrilled to see where all our contributions were going. She marveled at how our efforts would make a big difference in people’s lives. And who wouldn’t be pleased about that?
