On a festive Sunday at Holbeach Meadows, the Christmas spirit was in full swing as we hosted a merry Christmas Fayre, focusing on pure fun and games. Following the success of our Christmas Shopping Event, this was an afternoon dedicated to laughter and joyful festivities.
The talented Broadway Baby serenaded us with heartwarming carols and Christmas songs, creating a delightful atmosphere for both residents and visitors. Our raffle, brimming with goodies generously donated by local businesses and visitors, added an extra sprinkle of excitement to the festivities.
Children were kept on their toes as they embarked on a treasure hunt quiz, searching high and low for hidden letters that promised chocolatey treats. The grand finale awaited them at Santa’s Grotto, where smiles and wishes were shared.
Games galore filled the day, with a tombola, lucky dip, reindeer name guessing, pin the carrot on the snowman, snowball tin can alley, sweets-in-the-jar guessing, water or wine, and the much-loved punch-a-sprout game that stole the show!
Our residents were the heart of the event, contributing their artistic flair by painting snowmen and sprouts, overseeing the sweet count, selecting reindeer names, preparing the tombola, wrapping lucky dip presents, crafting carrot noses, managing stalls, and our very own Peter even stepped into the role of a fabulous Santa!
A heartfelt thank you to all that made it magical.
