Humberston House Summer Fair – A Day of Fun, Community, and Giving

The Humberston House Summer Fair was a resounding success, bringing together the community for a day filled with fun, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness. Despite a bit of drizzle, we had a fabulous turnout, with both residents and visitors enjoying the festive atmosphere. The children, in particular, had a blast with face painting and bouncing around on the bouncy castle, undeterred by the weather.

The fair featured a variety of stall holders who showcased and sold their homemade items, adding a special, personal touch to the event. Shoppers were delighted by the unique and handcrafted products, which ranged from artisan crafts to delicious baked goods. The excitement didn’t stop there—the raffle, water or wine game, and tombola were massive hits, drawing in crowds eager to try their luck and win some fantastic prizes.

We were thrilled to receive so much positive feedback from everyone who attended. Guests praised the event for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, and many expressed their admiration for the home and the efforts of our dedicated team. It was truly heartwarming to see so many smiling faces and to hear such lovely comments.

The best part of the day was that we raised an impressive £1,123 for the residents’ fund. This money will go directly towards enriching the lives of our residents, funding activities, outings, and other initiatives that bring joy and comfort to their everyday lives.
