This week the residents of Hunters Creek along with the activities team created their own Crochet Club.
Our residents seemed to really enjoy teaching the activities team a new skill, one of our residents who is registered blind was incredibly quick and an excellent teacher. Residents and our activities team chatted over a cup of tea and reminisced about how they were taught to crochet from the age of 4.
Some of our residents also darned their fathers’ socks for them.
The groups first project is a blanket, we can’t wait to share with you the finished product and are looking forward to many new projects to come.
If you are a keen knitter or crocheter? Please get in contact with us and come and join for a chat and a cup of tea.
