J’ukebox perform at Cloverleaf Care Home

This week at Cloverleaf our residents were treated to a performance by the talented ukelele double act, J’ukebox, who came to play for our residents.

They played a 45-minute set of upbeat 60’s music and our residents couldn’t resist the groove! It was a fantastic performance, and we can’t wait to see them play again! A huge thank you to Pete and Caroline for coming and performing for us and lighting up our residents faces with joy.

Music is a great activity for our residents, there are a long list of benefits including, stimulating most areas of the brain, strengthening learning, memory, and cognition, plus it can regulate mood, reduce stress, and relieve anxiety.
