Jenny Newell, from Spalding is currently working as a Lifestyle Co-ordinator at Cedar Falls Care Home. In an aid to raise money for Cedar Falls residents’ funds and Alzheimer’s charities, Jenny will take part in a tandem jump on Sunday, August 6th at Peterborough Skydiving Centre.
As a personal touch Jenny is also taking part in the skydive in memory of her Grandad James Peacock who she sadly lost in 2018.
Jenny has decided her first £500 will be given to Alzheimer’s charity anymore raised on top of this will be used to create a new sensory room for Cedar Falls residents.
Jenny commented, ‘If I am honest, I am really scared, I am petrified of heights, so as well as raising money I am also facing one of my biggest fears.’
Jenny is already well on her way to raising and beating her original goal. We are so proud of all the fundraising she has completed already and are so excited to see how much Jenny will be able to achieve. This is for a wonderful cause; we wish you the best of luck.
