Long lost friends reunited at Hunters Creek Care Home

Our resident Rosalie had a surprise reunion with a long-lost friend Sue on 19th April 2023.

Team members at Hunters Creek went above and beyond to reunite long lost friends Rosalie and Sue. After finding Sue on Facebook the team  arranged a surprise visit for Rosalie.

Rosalie commented ‘Sue helped me with my new-born baby and were great friends but sadly lost contact when I was posted out during my RAF days but was always hopeful, we would one day be reunited, and my dream came true.’

It was an emotional reunion for all involved, with lots of tears, cuddling, a well overdue catch up. The home had also arranged for a live singer to provide entertainment on the day. The two friends spent the afternoon enjoying the entertainment and reminiscing over fond memories.

Sue will be visiting the home again soon and is hoping to bring in her family to meet Rosalie.
