We invited families, friends, the local community, and team members to bring their dogs to a Mini Cruft’s Day at Toray Pines.
The agility course was laid out and numbered and water buckets were put out ready for thirsty dogs.
The weather was slightly overcast but soon the dogs started to arrive with their humans and the sun came out.
Phoebe dressed as Santa and Maggie dressed as a reindeer arrived with their humans in their fancy dress outfits on. Black Labrador Monty was dressed in a Hawaiian outfit and Dachshund Woody dressed as Count Dracula.
The dogs did a parade for everyone to see, there was lots of cheering and clapping as well as laughter. We couldn’t decide who was best dressed so they all won.
One by one the dogs started the agility course; they were cheered on by everyone and all had a big clap at the end as they crossed the finish line. Chase, Monty, Millie, Phoebe, Maggie, Woody, and Tilly were all amazing.
Chase and Maggie did some tricks for everyone to see.
We all then had a drink and some lunch followed by a presentation where everyone won a Rosette.
Everyone had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the day. What a great success, Toray Pines first ever Mini Cruft’s Day
Resident Phil said that he really enjoyed seeing all the lovely dogs and how clever they were.
Jane and Simon said, ‘We really didn’t think our girls would do the agility course, but they did and what a fantastic time they had. We have really enjoyed the day and we look forward to the next one.’
