One persons’s loss is another person’s gain

A member of our Hunters Creek kitchen staff had ordered a large pizza from our local pizza delivery. Unfortunately for him the pizza was delivered to the home when he wasn’t on shift.

With the team members permission and always looking to turn something negative into a positive, the manager at Hunters Creek took the initiative and shared the pizza out to our residents instead. Our resident Jenny was thrilled with this decision and thoroughly enjoyed the moment.

After listening to the residents feedback we have decided to have more takeaways and themed food evenings in the home. Our residents will start to make a list of their favourites at the next resident meeting.
