Pets As Therapy are a non-for-profit organisation that strives to enhance the wellbeing and health of people across the country no matter their circumstances, they believe everyone should have access to the companionship of an animal.
Volunteers visit care homes, hospitals, hospices, schools and prisons to help support as many people as possible.
This week their volunteers visited the residents of Richard House Care Home in Grantham.
Home Manager Emma commented ‘Our residents absolutely loved the session; everyone deserves to experience the happiness and joy an animal can bring and this week I saw the happiness on my residents by the smiles on their faces. We loved having Pets As Therapy visit our home and they are welcome any time.’
