Resident visits Alford Craft Market

Over the bank holiday weekend resident of Sandpiper Care Home, Hilda visited the Alford Craft Market.

Alford Craft Market was established in 1974, it is one of the longest standing craft markets in the UK. The market provides stalls for Lincolnshire craftsmen, makers, and artists to offer their handmade produce to the local community.

Hilda commented ‘I had a wonderful time at the crafts market over the weekend’. The sun was shining and there was plenty for Hilda to see and do.

At Sandpiper Care Home, we aim to provide activities and events that reflect the interested and choices of our residents. Monthly meetings are held with our residents to ensure our group and one to one activities are meeting our residents preferences.

We had a lovely weekend with Hilda and are looking forward to all our activities coming up over the summer months.
