Richard House Care Home located in Grantham went all out for their coronation celebrations over the weekend. The team set up a big screen to watch the coronation alongside a variety of activities to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
Residents were treated to a day fit for a King, with a banquet lunch, live entertainment from Double Treble, a visit from Mayor of Grantham, councilor Graham Jeal and the RAF air cadets who provided a drill display.
One resident commented ‘It was absolutely brilliant, I had spent over 30 years in the RAF air cadets, I was over the moon to watch them provide a drill display, well done.’
Another resident commented ‘I thoroughly enjoyed everything the home had put on, especially the ice cream man who visited at the end of the day’.
The residents and team members had a marvelous day and even enjoyed a sing song on the karaoke machine.
Here at Richard House the well-being and happiness of our residents is at the heart of all we do. We are currently welcoming new residents and would love the opportunity to show you around.
