Richard House is offering help during cost of living crisis

Here at Richard House Care Home, we want to support our local community during the cost-of-living crisis. We understand how increasingly hard this winter is for many of our vulnerable adults within the community. 

Our team at Richard House wanted to do their bit by providing a heated facility in which members of the public can access at no cost. 

We invited members of the community who were over 65 years old, living alone and wanted a little extra support, to join us for a hot meal, a cup of tea, warm soup, or a sandwich. Members of the public could spend some time in our home enjoying the warmth and a good meal. 

Richard House is a friendly and relaxed place for older people to visit. A key part of our home is to relieve any loneliness, and to support with day-to-day needs. By doing this we support not only our residents, but those vulnerable adults in the community. 

This week we had five lovely gentlemen and ladies join us for a home-cooked meal. 

Our doors are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, between the hours of 2pm and 5pm. 

Richard House Care Home offers both Residential and Dementia Care. 

The home is located on the Gorse Road in Grantham. Richard House is a 68-bed care home developed with residents in mind. Boasting a range of facilities including ensuite wet-rooms, communal dining rooms and lounges, a games room, hairdressers, wellbeing room, cinema, and tearoom.
