Richard House residents boat ride

This week residents from Richard House Care Home enjoyed a fantastic day out on the Three Shires Canal Boat.

It was a lovely 2-hour trip including afternoon tea while taking in the scenery of the Vale of Belvoir. The crew of the Three Shires Boat Liz and Hugh were amazing, they were very helpful with our residents, and provided refreshments on the boat.

A big thank you to Liz and Hugh for making g it a very special day for the residents they all said what fantastic time they had.

It was great to see the residents out enjoying themselves, the weather even held out for us to enjoy the ride in the sunshine. Here at Richard House, we have started to make a resident’s wish list, where we will be supporting our residents to take part in different and varied experiences that they may not have had the chance to do previously. We can’t wait to see what they would like to do next!
