Get ready to groove, because we had the pleasure of hosting the one and only Charlie Sinclair from the heart of Mablethorpe at Hunter’s Creek today. And let us tell you, it was a musical extravaganza like no other!
Charlie took centre stage and serenaded our residents with his sensational singing talents. The crowd went wild, clapping their hands, singing along, and even getting up to dance to a medley of toe-tapping tunes that spanned from the fabulous ’50s to the present day.
Now, you might wonder, who is this musical magician? Well, Charlie’s no rookie; he’s been a professional pub/club singer for a whopping four decades!
He’s rocked stages both in the UK and overseas, belting out everything from Reggae to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, and everything in between – think Rock, Pop, and even a bit of Country and Western.
But here’s the kicker – Charlie’s not just about his singing; he’s all about the showmanship! He’s got a wardrobe that could rival the Queen’s corgis, and today, he donned a fabulous country and western outfit that left everyone in awe.
Our Activities Co-ordinator, Tiney, was absolutely blown away by the residents’ response to Charlie’s performance. It was so epic that she’s decided to book him for an encore!
Mark your calendars for Remembrance Sunday, folks, because Charlie Sinclair is making a comeback. But this time, he’s going all out in full military uniform, singing those wartime classics that’ll have us all reminiscing.
It’s going to be a musical journey like no other, and we can’t wait to see you there to join in the fun!
