Rosalie and Kenneth host Hunters Creek Awards

On the 12^th July 2023, team members and residents attended their Team Star Awards annual presentation. Home Manager Rachel presented the certificates to the staff along with residents Rosalie and Kenneth who had volunteered to read out the certificates.  Rosalie presented the certificates to the Star Performers, whilst Kenneth presented the Special Recognition Awards.

Rosalie loves to get involved with all the event planning that takes place in the home, before joining us at Hunter Creek Rosalie worked in the RAF and travelled the world, she was the ideal host and best choice to hand out the Star Performer certificates due to being a star herself. Kenneth is a very smart and sociable gentlemen, before retirement he worked as the Mayor’s Chauffeur in the London Borough of Bexley for many years and prior to that he worked as a London transport bus driver, he perfectly complemented the atmosphere of the event with his cheery personality.

The event was a great success with some great teamwork between the Activities/Reception/Admin and kitchen team to ensure everything was perfect for everyone.  The kitchen made a beautiful buffet and singer Travis Graham didn’t disappoint – everybody was up dancing and jiving away. Travis commented ‘It is always a good crowd at Hunters Creek, and I look forward to seeing you all at the Summer Fayre.’

Lifestyles did a fantastic job at decorating the home ahead of the presentation. It was lovely for all team members to come together to celebrate their successes together.
