The sunshine has finally graced us with its presence, and the residents at Meadows Park are feeling rejuvenated and full of energy! With green thumbs itching to get to work, our residents have embarked on an exciting garden project.
This week, we took a few residents on a delightful outing to the local garden center to kickstart our endeavor. Together, we selected strawberry plants for our new strawberry planter, and the residents thoroughly enjoyed exploring the center. A leisurely coffee break at the café added to the enjoyment of the day, sparking inspiration for additional garden features. Marsha, in particular, expressed her enthusiasm for incorporating fuchsias into our garden landscape.
In addition to our strawberry planter, we’ve also begun work on our very own herb garden and tomato plants for the kitchen. These fresh additions will not only enhance our meals but also provide a sense of pride and accomplishment for our residents.
At Meadows Park, we prioritise giving our residents the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of their home, from gardening to cooking. We believe in creating a nurturing environment where residents can engage in activities they love the most.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for all the exciting updates from our garden project. We have a feeling it’s going to be a blooming success!
