Star awards at Richard House

Every month Home Manager Emma Johnson chooses her Star Awards. The Star Awards are for team members who have gone above and beyond in their role and deserve recognition for all their hard work.

This month four team members were chosen as the stars of the month.

Shelby for, ‘Always being motivated, kind, caring and for working her way up from Senior Care Assistant to Deputy.’

Shannon for ‘Really stepping up to support the Home Manager, even though she is heavily pregnant. Shannon, always brings positivity to the team members each day and is a good role model.’

Kirsty for ‘being dedicated to her role, kind, caring and always having the time to listen to our residents. Kirsty goes the extra mile to make people happy and smile. Kirsty always makes herself available to help on events and it doesn’t go unnoticed.  As an example, Kirsty came to work on her Birthday to support a resident to go out shopping for new reading glasses, which she arranged herself with the resident.’

Emma’s final Star Award went to Denise for ‘helping wherever she can she is kind and compassionate and the residents love her. She has been a great support to the home covering shifts and staying late to Make sure the residents get outstanding care. she is always laughing and has a great sense of humour.’

As an extra gift, Regional Compliance Manager Jeanette rewarded team members that had helped over the weekend, especially overnight. Some team members worked extra hours, and some gave up their free time, so we rewarded them with a bottle of Prosecco to say thank you.
