Summer fayre at Cedar Falls

This weekend Cedar Falls hosted their Summer Fayre. Residents, friends, families, loved ones, local community and small local businesses were all invited, for a day of family fun and bringing the community together.

Local businesses were invited to hold stalls, we were overwhelmed with the response, gem art, wax melts, water, and wine, raffle, duck shoot, ball in the bucket and lucky wheel were to name a few.

Live entertainment was provided by Alpha Duo who played many of our resident’s favourite songs going from ABBA to John Denver, which got our residents singing and dancing along to.

Lifestyle Manager Saphire commented ‘We want to say a massive thank you to our team members, residents, and their families for coming together to make an amazing summer fayre. Our residents and families thoroughly enjoyed the event. It will definately be one to remember.’

One resident commented, ‘I absolutely loved it, it was so nice to have the event outside.’

Our Chef Andy helped run the BBQ for us, burgers, and sausages along with a side salad and a variety of drinks, from teas coffees to squash and fizzy pop were all on offer.

We are so thankful to everyone who helps support us in the lead up to these events, without you it wouldn’t be possible. Seeing the happiness on our residents faces makes it all worth it.
