Richard House recently held its first Family Day in the garden, and it was a resounding success. With the sun shining and live music playing, residents enjoyed a fantastic day.
Lisa, Activities Assistant, planned and organised her first event for the residents, and it was a big hit. Lisa arranged for the chef to prepare an amazing spread, featuring open-top rolls and a delightful cheese board. There were also drinks, including beer and fizz for those allowed a little tipple, and non-alcoholic options for others. Lisa truly thought of everything.
The residents were up and dancing to live music from Sue Tinkler, a well-loved singer at the home. She performed all their favorite songs, including classic sing-alongs like “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary” and “Roll Out the Barrel.”
Both the residents and their families had a day to remember, filled with joy and fantastic moments.
