Tina’s Big Day Out!

Hold onto your hats because we’re off on a fantastic adventure to the Discovery Cafe, where style, smiles, and sweet treats await!

Here at Cloverleaf, we believe in the magic of Person-Centred Care Activities. It’s all about putting our incredible residents right at the heart of their care, celebrating their unique individuality, and letting them lead a life that’s nothing short of amazing.

Now, let’s meet our star of the day, the lovely Tina! When she declared that it was high time for a cafe escapade, our dynamic duo, team members Hayley and Sarah, jumped into action faster than a jackrabbit on a sugar rush.

But here’s the twist – Tina doesn’t just step out; she likes to make an entrance! She picked out one of her favourite outfits, and with a sprinkle of stylistic magic, our dynamic duo worked their charm. They styled her hair and applied a touch of makeup, making sure Tina was ready to conquer the world, or at least the cafe!

And off they went to the Discovery Cafe, with Tina’s eyes twinkling with excitement. Once there, Tina did what any cafe connoisseur would do – she chose her drink of choice and paired it with a delightful ice cream. And where did she want to savour these treats? In the great outdoors, of course! The weather was perfect for an alfresco indulgence.

Tina summed it up perfectly when she said, “I had a really nice time. It was nice to go out and visit the cafe.”

Activity Lead Hayley shared the joy, saying, “Sarah and I loved every minute of our quality time with Tina. Making her smile, especially when we offered to style her hair and makeup, warmed our hearts. Supporting our residents with activities like this and seeing them happy brings us immeasurable joy.”
