Trent Bridge Care Home spreads holiday cheer with festive celebrations

This December, Trent Bridge Care Home has embraced the spirit of the season with a series of heartwarming Christmas celebrations, creating unforgettable memories for residents, families, and team members.

The festivities began with a fun-filled Elf Day, where the entire team delighted residents by dressing as cheerful elves, bringing laughter and joy to kick off the holiday season.

One of the highlights of the month was a memorable trip to Nottingham Winter Wonderland, made possible by the wonderful team at Myley Tours. Residents explored the enchanting Christmas market, admired the twinkling lights, and enjoyed warm hot chocolate, all while soaking in the magical atmosphere. A little Christmas shopping added to the charm of the day, making it a perfect outing to connect with the local community and embrace the festive spirit.

Back at the care home, we hosted our first-ever Christmas Fair, which was a resounding success. Guests enjoyed: Meeting Santa, a variety of festive stalls, delicious food and refreshments, a lively tombola, face painting for the kids and entertainment.

Residents also enjoyed an array of holiday entertainment, including pantomime shows, choir performances, and cherished moments spent with loved ones.
