Wimbledon weekend at Cloverleaf Care Home

Cloverleaf Care Home celebrated the Wimbledon final with a ‘Wimbledon Weekend’ event.

On the Saturday we kicked off the celebrations with the women’s final, Pimms, Lemonade and Strawberries & Cream was served to our resdients whilst they enjoyed the match.

On the Sunday it was national ice cream day so we enjoyed ice cream whilst watching the men’s final. The residents had a choice of
Vanilla, Strawberry or Chocolate ice cream, in a tub or cone and they had the choice of colourful or chocolate sprinkles and chocolate or strawberry Sauce. It was amazing to watch such an epic match all together and cheer on Carlos Alcaraz as he became a Wimbledon Champion.

Registered Nurse commented ‘The weekends festivities were as wonderful as ever Hayley, the event went down a treat.’

Activity Lead Hayley said ‘It’s been such a wonderful weekend, I loved seeing the residents faces when the ice cream trolley arrived. A huge thanks to the team members for their support.’
