This week marked a momentous occasion at Beeston Rise as we officially opened the doors to our brand-new pub, and the excitement was palpable. To add a touch of glamour to the festivities, we were honored to welcome the Mayor as our special guest.
Rewinding to earlier this year, we reached out to our vibrant local community, along with our residents and their families, with an invitation to participate in a ‘naming the pub’ competition. The response was nothing short of overwhelming, flooded with an array of fabulous suggestions. After a democratic voting process, the unanimous decision led us to christen our pub the ‘Rise and Wine’—a name that perfectly captures the spirit of camaraderie and celebration.
As the doors swung open, members of the public, loved ones, and residents eagerly congregated in the confines of the ‘Rise and Wine.’ Laughter echoed as we kicked off the celebration with a lively quiz, refreshing libations, and an afternoon of joyous revelry.
The Mayor, sharing the sentiment of many, expressed, ‘Over the past year being Mayor, I have visited a number of care home establishments. Beeston Rise has some of the best facilities I have ever seen. Well done.’ We were truly honored to have the Mayor as part of our grand opening, and her words of praise are a testament to the dedication and excellence that Beeston Rise represents.
As we bask in the success of this grand opening, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us. We eagerly anticipate continuing to welcome visitors to our wonderful ‘Rise and Wine’ pub, making it a hub of joy and connection within our fabulous home. Cheers to new beginnings and the spirit of togetherness!
